Xi'an

I fell in love with a little girl the other night. i really wanted to put her in my suitcase and bring her home. she was this little 5-7 year old i am not totally sure but her english was amazing. we were in a little villiage, as small as a chinese villiage can be so actually really big but where we were looked smaller, because it was on the edge of the village and was gated. we each stayed with families four of us to one family. it is a government run thing but it was really cool. we got to go and be in a classroom with a bunch of grade one students which was amazing, and i really wanted to stay longer. i met the little girl that night at the dance they put on for us she came up to me and wanted to know who i was and if i wanted to play i made her dance and then we played a game i still can't play the game and we worked on if for like an hour. she and i would take turns blaming the other who's fault it was that we failed yet again. the last few days had been so full but i really loved it. we finally had a good tourguide that didn't take us to all these tourist traps that none of us can afford. we ended up at one but she told us that we didn't have to feel like we had to buy anything but if we did it was half price cause we are students. she took us there so we could see how the tarocotta warriors were made (for replica use). so that was not so bad as our old one, who took us everwhere to make us spend money. we saw the acutal tarocotta warriors that was pretty cool it is hard for me to imagine a guy to spent 40 years creating his tomb and making others make it for him. it was remarkable. i am in shanghai right now and since there was so much to rememeber and i can't remember it right now it will have to wait till later i know i said that last time about beijing but maybe i will actually tell you some day. just ask for more post and i may write more.
love you all, and miss you.
